Sky Stage Ultra

Sky Climber’s Sky Stage Ultra is a “third generation” modular platform that combines the best of known technology with new concepts. Specific features of note are:

• Nearly 70 Ft. in length with a 10 ft. (3 meter) cantilever & 2 point suspension (Tested & UL approval pending).
• A 50 Ft. (15 meter) span between suspension points.
• Stronger floor panels which are reversible and provide a more stable platform.

Light Weight Stage

The Sky Climber Light Weight Stage is designed for use with any Sky Climber powered hoist. The combination of hoist and stage forms a complete modular, light weight suspended access system and is a cost effective way to rig sophisticated shapes.

Light Weight Stage is constructed of aluminum. Components such as stirrups, connecting frames etc. are constructed of steel. A 12m platform can easily be handled and assembled by 2 men. The heaviest component, a 3m floor, weighs only 22kg. Fast and easy, the components are designed to assemble a 16m platform in less than 15 minutes. No tools are required to assemble platforms because connecting pins and safety pins are used.

Using 1,2 and 3 m modules, the Light Weight Stage can be assemble to achieve a maximum length of 12 m between suspension centers. Walk-thru stirrups can be used with this system as an alternative to the standard end-stirrups. All standard configurations are CE (EN1808 approved, meeting or exceeding world-wide safety standards.

A second-generation stage which has good capability. With the introduction of the Sky Stage Ultra the LWS will still be supported for the benefit of those with fleets of LWS while they move to the Sky Stage Ultra.

Sky Stage 500 And 505

The Sky Climber Sky Stage is are designed for use with any Sky Climber powered hoist. The combination of hoist and stage forms a complete modular, heavy duty suspended access system and is a cost effective complement to the wide range of Sky Climber products. Sky Stage is constructed of galvanized steel and aluminum alloy.

505 Sky Stage – Especially for boiler applications

Sky Stage 505 platforms are made of specifically designed split deck sections which can go through any small opening or hard to access space (ellipse size of 597 x 406 mm). The platforms are modular in design and are delivered in 1-2 m sections to assemble right inside a boiler or digester and other hard to reach places. Full size work areas from 1 to 16 m can be attained.

MKD (Modular Knock Down)

MKD Accessories

The Sky Climber Modular Knock Down (MKD) is designed for use with any Sky Climber powered hoist. The combination of hoist and stage forms a complete modular, light weight suspended access system and is a cost effective way to rig sophisticated shapes. Modular Knock Down (MKD) is constructed of steel and heavy duty aluminum. Components such as stirrups, connecting frames etc. are paint protected. A 40 foot platform can easily be handled and assembled by 2 men in less than 25 minutes. No tools needed no loose parts on MKD.

Using 2, 5 and 10 ft sections, MKD can be assembled to achieve a maximum length of 40 ft between suspension points. Numerous accessories are available to shape change the MKD. Combine the MKD and the MKD2 and get yet another new and innovative product call MKD Dual. MKD Dual combines the lower side panel from MKD2 allowing a larger work surface area, and the taller side panel of MKD which the safe work height required by regulations.

Also a second-generation stage it too has a strong following in the United States. It has strong capabilities and has proved very popular over the past 10 years.

MKDII (Boiler Stage)

MKD2 has the special capability of fitting through an opening as small as 18 in. and is designed for those hard to reach places that offer limited access, but require a full-size platform. Unique modular hinge and pin design allow MKD2 components to be easily passed through these small openings. The “2” after MKD indicates its ability to fit through 18 inch openings.

Sky Climber’s MKD and MKD2 work platforms are versatile, compact, economical and lightweight systems designed for high productivity. All parts and components can be purchased separately enabling the user to expand their system as needed, over time. The MKD and MKD2 modular design allows for the rental or lease of additional MKD components on an as needed basis, or to combine with the owners equipment on occasions where unusual or larger than average projects are waiting.

Designed specifically to fit through an 18in. boiler entry and then easily erected, the MKD is the leader in its class.

Some work cages pass through openings as small as 18” making them a perfect solution for hard to reach places such as boilers and digesters. Use Sky Climber Alpha and Compact hoists with our work cages.

Take advantage of the Modular design when using the MKD modular work cages. Light weight aluminum design with attached wheels allows for simple transfer from truck to work site. The same that makes overhead work easy. Used with top side rigging and Sky Climber hoist as a one or two man work station to be carried aloft. Components dismantle to allow it to pass through an opening as small as 18 in.; 1000 lbs. rated load capacity. Wall roller optional.

Fold Up Work Cage

Sky Climber offers a variety of sizes and types of work cages. Modular (MKD) Work Cages, fold up work cages, low profile work cages, all for 1 or 2 workers. Some work cages pass through openings as small as 18” making them a perfect solution for hard to reach places such as boilers and digesters. Use Sky Climber Alpha and Compact hoists with our work cages.

For use in a limited access area, repair and inspection projects, rescue or observation by one or two workers. Used with top side rigging and one Sky Climber hoist.

Features:
Cage fold-up (umbrella type) feature allows it to pass through an opening as small as 18 inches. Unfolds easily with no assembly. Rated Load Capacity of 1000 lbs. (500 lbs. on each side of work cage). Does not require wall roller.

Fold Up Work Cage (1 or 2 man)

The Low Profile Knock Down Cage makes overhead work easy. Used with top side rigging and Sky Climber hoist as a one or two man work station to be carried aloft. Components dismantle to allow it to pass through an opening as small as 18 in.; 1000 lbs. rated load capacity. Wall roller optional. Wire Winder Optional.

A safe, sturdy method for one person to access projects. Use the Bosun chair with any air or electric type Alpha or Compact hoist.

Chair operates with top side rigging and one of Sky Climber’s air powered or electric powered hoists (CX1250, Alpha 1000, Compact 750). Features include a demountable chair capable of disassembly for passing through openings as small as 18 inches. Seat offers extra back support with motor mount under the seat for ease in finger tip operation. Cable guide and required safety Sky Lock are located over head.
