Training Course Agenda
The agenda for classes is arranged such that persons not interested in the Alpha 1500 model may leave on Wednesday evening. Persons only interested in the Safety / Application portion of the schedule may attend Thursday only. Training includes both theory and hands-on. The trainee retains all course literature and manuals distributed and used in class. Lunch is provided from 12:00 to 1:00. Call 800-255-4629 for more information.
Day One –Tuesday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Compact 750, CX 1250, Compact 1250 & Alpha 1000
-Mechanical Section - disassembly / inspection / assembly
-Air Motor and Air Brake (Spitznas & Gast Only) – disassembly
/ assembly
- Sky Lock III – disassembly / inspection / assembly
Day Two –Wednesday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Compact 750, CX 1250, Compact 1000, Compact 1250 & Alpha 1000
-Electrical Section – wiring / schematic reading / troubleshooting
-Dual Volt hoists and Single Volt hoists
- Test – Compacts 750, 1000, 1250 & Alpha 1000 & Sky
Lock III
Day Three –Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Applications/Safety
-Top Side Rigging – components / setup / use / techniques
-Platforms – configuration / rating / setup / use
-Workcages & Bosun Seat – ratings / setup / use
-Personal Fall Arrest Equipment – use
- Regulations – OSHA / ANSI / UL
- Test – Application/Safety & Regulations
Day Four – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Alpha 1500/2200
-Mechanical Section – disassembly / inspection / assembly
-Electrical Section – schematic reading / troubleshooting
- Sky Lock II – operation / repair
- Test – Alpha 1500/2200 Sky Lock II
Sky Climber no longer offers training on Model 4 hoists. Model 4 hoists are obsolete.
NOTE: The arrangement of the training can be changed to accommodate the needs of the students.
