Overview of Customer Location Service Training Course
I. Details of Service Training performed by Sky Climber:
A. Purpose – To impart product knowledge of Sky Climber equipment
to employees and/or customers.
B. Training Course Agenda
The agenda for classes is arranged such that persons not interested
in the Alpha 1500 may leave after Day Two. Persons not interested
in the Compact 750, CX 1250, Compact 1000, Compact 1250 and Alpha
1000 may begin training on Day Three. Training includes both theory
and hands-on. The trainee retains repair manuals distributed and
used in class. Lunch is from 12:00 to 1:00.
Day One – 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Compact 750, CX 1250, Compact 1000, Compact 1250 & Alpha
1000
- Mechanical Section - disassembly / inspection / assembly
- Air Motor and Air Brake (Spitznas & Gast Only) –
disassembly / assembly
- Sky Lock III – disassembly / inspection / assembly
Day Two – 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Compact 750, CX 1250, Compact 1000, Compact 1250 &
Alpha 1000
- Electrical Section – wiring / schematic reading / troubleshooting
- Dual Volt hoists and Single Volt hoists
- Test – Compacts 750, 1000, 1250 & Alpha 1000 &
Sky Lock III
Day Three – 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- Alpha 1500
- Mechanical Section – disassembly / inspection / assembly
- Electrical Section – schematic reading / troubleshooting
- Sky Lock II – operation / repair
- Test – Alpha 1500, Sky Lock II
NOTE: The arrangement of the training can be changed to accommodate
the needs of the students.
C. Students who successfully complete the course and written test:
- Are issued Training Certificate.
- Receive training handout.
- Maximum of 10 students.
II. For training performed at the customer’s location:
A. Customer will provide the following:
- A training room capable of accommodating the desired number of
students.
- A projector screen.
- Overhead Projector.
- Dry eraser board.
- Seating and tables to accommodate the desired number of students.
- All necessary equipment.
- The customer is responsible for equipment and facilities setup.
- The customer is responsible for providing lunch for all students
and instructor.
- Students would be dedicated to the class and not be able to perform
other tasks during the class.
B. Sky Climber will provide the following:
- Student training handouts.
- Operator Identification Cards.
C. The cost to the customer is as follows:
- Base course cost – $1900.00 per day of training.
- Actual instructor travel costs – Hotel, airfare, vehicle
mileage, meals, car rental, parking, gas, and miscellaneous expenses.
III. Sky Climber equipment requirements (provided by the customer):
A. Mandatory equipment requirements:
- One hoist gearbox for each course requested.
- One hoist electric side for each course requested.
- One hoist air motor for each course requested.
- Spitznas or Gast only.
IV. Customer scheduling of Training Course:
A. Customer completes Training Class Registration Form and returns
the form to Sky Climber.
B. Sky Climber contacts customer to finalize scheduling and confirm
training dates & location.
C. The following dates are not available for training
at the customer’s location for the Year 2008:
