Customer Location Service Training
Learn the technical aspects of servicing and repairing your Sky Climber
hoists, as well as, established factory methods to certify Sky Climber
hoist equipment. This comprehensive 2½ -day course mixes theory
with hands-on instruction, including demonstrations and bench repair.
The course material includes the following:
- Disassembly, inspection troubleshooting and re-assembly of the mechanical
portion of several models of hoists.
- Disassembly, inspection troubleshooting and re-assembly of Sky
Locks.
- Inspection and repair of air motors (Spitznas & Gast Only).
- Electrical theory and troubleshooting of electrical motors.
- Wire rope specifications and their preparation for use.
Attendees who successfully complete the service training course are
issued Certificates of Completion that are valid for 4 years. At the
end of this period holders will be required to complete another course
for renewal.
The training is formatted such that attendees may take all or part
of the course. Each major section of training is tested at the time
of completion. Class space is limited to a maximum of 10 students and
is by reservation only; therefore you will need to make your class reservation
early.
Training at the customer’s location will require a training room
capable of accommodating the desired number of students, as well as,
the necessary equipment. The customer is responsible for equipment and
facilities setup.
Available courses subjects and durations are as follows:
- Alpha 1500 Course – ½ day duration
- Compact Series & Alpha 1000 Course – 2 days duration
